Need To Uninstall Freeware? Use Perfect Uninstaller!
Sometimes it helps to use special software to uninstall a program such as when the program is freeware and it did not come with an uninstaller application built in. Or you are having problems completely uninstalling the freeware. Or if the software is getting errors due to it being corrupt. In a case like that (corruption of a program) you may need to force uninstall the freeware program using a special application such as Perfect Uninstaller's "Force Uninstall" feature.

If you downloaded and installed a freeware software program and later want to uninstall the freeware program on your computer system you ideally should be able to without any problems. Some freeware programs may come with a built in uninstaller application where you can just do something similar to this: Click "Start" then mouse over "All Programs", then find the program you wish to uninstall and see if there is a little arrow you can mouse over to see if there is an uninstall option. If an uninstaller is there you should be able to click it to uninstall the program.
Problem: Not all freeware software programs come with built in uninstallers to remove the software from your computer. If that is the case then you may be able to use the Windows Add/Remove Programs. You can access this by going to your Control Panel (Start - Control Panel) and then (Add or Remove Programs - The application in Vista is something like "Programs and Features").
Another Problem: What if you can't uninstall the freeware software program? This is not uncommon. Also, what if you are getting errors or the freeware program is not listed in the add/remove program list? What can you do if the freeware program is corrupted and won't uninstall? Yes a corrupt freeware program can be difficult to remove and may require you to manually dig into the registry files to fix the problems if you know what you are doing or else you may have to pay someone else to fix the problem. All of this can be frustrating to deal with when all you really want to do is uninstall the program you downloaded as freeware and move on with your life!
